Open to experienced photographers who are already comfortable working in a darkroom.
Doka107 is perfect for photographers who want to slow down and reconnect with the full analog process. We offer a cozy, well-equipped darkroom for independent rental at accessible rates.
Whether you're developing film, making prints, scanning negatives, or experimenting with new techniques, our space is designed to support deep focus and creativity.
Analog photography deserves patience and room to breathe. Each darkroom session is six hours, giving you plenty of time to work through your process without rushing.
New to the analog process or need a refresher?
Join our Doka Fundamentals workshops to learn the basics before working in the darkroom on your own.
Available for bookings twice a week.
What’s included?
We provide chemistry for black & white film and paper, along with standard darkroom equipment. Please bring your own paper.
Work independently or with a friend
Our darkroom studio has space for up to five artists at once.
Studio rental fees per six hour session
1 person: €75 (excl. VAT)
2-5 people: €60 each (excl. VAT)
House Rules
Respect the space, the equipment, and those around you.
No loud music in the darkroom. Respect our fellow neighbours in the gallery.
You are required to bring your own paper.
Chemicals for black and white development and printing are provided.
No food is to be consumed in the dark room or in the light room. Please go outside to eat.
Leave the space the way you found it. throw away your trash in the bins, wash all equipment used and store chemicals appropriately.
